Despite the Goblins’ lower win rate they were the most popular stunty team with 16,255 games played to 13,168 for the Halflings and 11,015 for Ogres. So how do Halfling feasts in 2022 compare to those of old? Well Halflings were the best of the stunty teams in all time Classic BB with a 36.3% win rate versus 33.7% for Ogres and 33% for Goblins. Twyllenimor finished on 10 points in the Europen putting him tied for 4th on points but falling to 9th on tiebreakers. The coach who played the most Halfling games in 2022, Twyllenimor, also bossed it at Eurobowl with a 83.3% win rate! Feerikon (a very close second to Twyllenimor) played in the Eurobowl itself achieving 8 points and a top 30 finish. They had the 6th best offense and the 19th best defense. They achieved a record of 15 wins, 8 draws and 13 losses over those games for a 52.8% win rate! It’s not a lot of games but the halflings were bossing it technically putting them in 5th place by win percentage. Halflings were the most popular stunty team at Eurobowl, playing 36 games. The head chefs of the team in 2022 though were definitely feerikon with 35 games plus a 68.6% win rate and Twyllenimor with 36 games and a 61.1% win rate! Cooking Up a Storm in Malta There were some glorious performances in there, but in general, just like with all of the other races, the coaches who dedicated themselves to Halflings outperformed the overall race win rate with a 47.7% showing versus the global average of 44.7%.įour coaches managed 70-80% win rates in 2022 with another five managing 60-70% win rates. Champions of the Mootģ9 coaches played Halflings more than 10 times in 2022. Perhaps surprisingly the majority of teams fall within the 40-45% win rate band for Halflings with no fewer than 11 teams there. Tomb Kings are the best performers in there of 2022. In both the healthy and unhealthy positive categories, no particularly strong teams appear. The team recorded healthy win rates against a further six teams: Norse (52.5%), Necro (47.5%), Nurgle (46.5%), Humans (46.2%), Lizards (45.1%) and Tomb Kings (45%). In the stunty matchup, Halflings bossed both Goblins (56.5%) and Ogres (56.7%). Conversely, the win rates of the teams in 2022 was almost the exact opposite of their popularity with Snotlings in first with 48%, Halflings second with 44.7%, Ogres third at 43.1% and Goblins as the worst team in tournament blood bowl in 2022 at just 41.6%.Īll things considered with Halflings, their win rate doesn’t look horrendous! Bonus Pie for everyone! Did the Halflings do well against anyone in particular on their way to that rate? Well in fact they did, Black Orcs and Chaos Chosen apparently didn’t do well against Halflings with the stunties winning at a 60% rate versus the Blorcs and a 58.5% rate against the Chosen. ![]() Ogres weren’t far behind either (1,706) but Snotlings came in with a decent amount less than the rest at only 1,563 games. Halflings were neck and neck with Goblins as the most popular stunty team in 2022 but Goblins just beat them with 1,892 games played versus Halflings’ 1,872. ![]() Oh ya and I have some butter biscuits here too. So I’m going to have a look at the team in 2022, 2021, 2019 and all time to look at where the Halflings are in Blood bowl tournaments right now. ![]() All of which perhaps changed Halflings’ performance from 2021 to 2022. With 2022, more and more tournaments limited the stars, taxed the stars like Griff and/or used the Eurobowl ruleset. A Griff/Zug or Griff/Deeproot or Griff and anyone else combo with Halflings is actually a really strong team. At the start of BB2020, the abuse of star players was rampant and the stunties were capable of fielding two big expensive stars while having a basic team behind them. However, many of you took Halflings in tournaments last year. ![]() I need to fix that this year while eating some of Cindy’s explosive cupcakes. I played a whole bunch of Halflings online but they are actually the only stunty team I don’t have painted.
